More air links for Turkey

10th August, 2008

PEGASUS Airlines is set to increase the flight frequency on its route connecting London Stansted Airport with Istanbul.

From September 1, the carrier will add an extra weekly flight to its current thrice-weekly service, followed by a fifth connection from October 1.

The flights will depart Stansted at 12:05, arriving at Istanbul's Sabiha Gokcen airport at 18:40, with the return trip leaving Turkey at 10:30 to arrive in London at 12:15.

Pegasus chairman Ali Sabanci said: "By increasing the frequency on our London route, we will be able to offer our valued customers greater choice and flexibility than ever before.

"Our customers will be able to enjoy flights five times per week from October, which will increase our appeal to holidaymakers and business travellers alike, who will also benefit from wide availability of quick and easy connecting flights from our Istanbul hub."

The airline provides 16 domestic routes throughout Turkey, to popular destinations such as Bodrum, Dalaman and Antalya.
